Gilla Band Toledo Concert reviews
Jackson, awesome as always
"Fantastic concert! The big hits, old music that was great but not a huge hit, and a perfect mix of new music, not too much, were all included. His band was fantastic, with a great lead guitarist and steel guitarist. His voice still sounds great albeit not what it used to be, but he is 67 after all. A few rude idiots in the audience apparently only know about six Gilla Band songs and just wanted to hear those...not quite sure why those people were even there. He sang a Warren Zevon song! He is an awesome, classy performer who loves the interaction with the audience. I can't imagine going to see an artist who had put out a new album and expecting them not to play any of their new music. If you're a fan, you should want to embrace their new stuff because all of the old stuff was new stuff at one time. He really wants to play what the fans want to hear."
